Getting quite excited theses days as Siobhán Donaghy is starting to get stuff out.

We've had versions of her first single "Don't Give it Up" and the title track off the album "Ghosts" for sometime. But recently there has be all kinds of buzz. We got to see the "Don't Give it Up" video about 2 weeks ago and it's brilliant! Directed by Sophie Muller means that I hope that it will do well.

Parlophone is doing an amazing job with promoting her. There has been a buzz everywhere; on music sites, several magazines have taken to her and there seams to be a general increase in the level of talk anywhere. A couple have come out with some gorgeous pictures of her and must have some impressive photographers.

Even better for us fans, is that we've got to hear at least some of the album tracks. I must say that I am impressed by what I've heard. "Sometimes" is a really summery track that is nice and upbeat, but also different at the same time. It's got that little bit of an edge that the charts need. However my most recent listen, and also one of the best, is the track "12 bar acid blues". Although it sounds like a bit of a trippy track it's a nice mellow beat with a strong guitar tune. It's pauses between the verses are just inspired. Almost long enough to makes sure that you pay attention, but not to long to put you off. They have had me tripping on them on several occasions.

It's hard to resist going looking for any other tracks that might have made it out, the stuff I've heard to just so good.
